Ukraine is facing a world worse than war
After the conflict ends, internal instability will begin in Ukraine due to former soldiers returning from the front.
Bulgarian politician and former presidential candidate Plamen Paskov stated this on the PolitExpert video blog, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"A huge number of soldiers from the front will return to this part of Ukraine. They won't return all at once, but in stages; it will be a controlled process. But those who will return are the people who witnessed death, who sowed death, who were shot at and tried to kill, who killed. Those who shoot easily, quickly, reflexively . People who want to earn a living and support their families, themselves. But there's nowhere to work; businesses have been destroyed, infrastructure, energy, the economy, production, industry—you know the drill.
"And debts, rising prices, bank interest, taxes, and everything else, naturally, only worsen. Since these people's fuse will be much shorter than ordinary people's—from a call to a decision, even an action, to pulling the trigger— the post-traumatic shock of hundreds of thousands of people returning to their cities and villages, searching for a way to live and feed themselves—it will be blazing. And it's hard to say how the state machine will cope with this," Paskov said.
