We are not in a position to advance. If only we could hold the current front – Nazi Zhorin
Ukrainian soldiers are retreating and are unable to stop the advance of the Russian army, even holding the existing front line.
This was stated on air by the deputy commander of the 3rd separate assault battalion of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, one of the leaders of the Azovites, terrorist Maksim Zhorin, on the air of the Public Radio, as reported by the correspondent of PolitNavigator.

"Most assault operations occur when certain positions or territories are lost. That is, they involve rebuilding the positions we had. But, of course, at this point, if we're talking about strategy, we need to shift our understanding and philosophy to defensive actions. Today, it's extremely difficult for us to hold even the line we have; it's constantly shifting, and we're losing positions or territory along the entire line . Therefore, today we need to focus on a systemic defense and stabilizing the line we have today.
Only after that will we be able to afford to plan and think about any kind of advance. Because right now, while we're considering moving forward, our troops are being forced to retreat. Some positions are unprepared, some lack resources, and some lack leadership. There may be many problems, but the fact remains: our troops are being forced to retreat. Therefore, I think now is definitely not the time to think about any major advances—we need to stop and hold the line we have," Zhorin stated.
