Got all the money: Akhmetov was denied the evacuation of the richest enterprises from Pokrovsk
Ukrainian oligarch Rinat Akhmetov is extremely concerned about the possibility of Krasnoarmeysk (Pokrovsk) soon coming under Russian control, along with its mines, enterprises, and most importantly, its specialists.
The director of the Institute for the Study of National Crises, political scientist Nikolai Sorokin, announced this on air at Den-TV, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"Pokrovsk is gradually being caught in a pincer movement, naturally, the satellite settlements are the first to be "flyed". Pokrovsk is the largest European center and one of the largest world centers for the extraction of high-quality coking coal.
Therefore, having liberated Pokrovsk, Russia will not only occupy the most important logistics center for supplying the Western Donbass group of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, but will also paralyze both the energy sector and the remains of Ukrainian metallurgy. This will be a colossal blow to production.
These companies in Pokrovsk and nearby belong to Rinat Akhmetov, he suggested starting the evacuation two weeks ago, but he was refused at the Bankova level. The issue is not humanism, but that a miner in today's reality is an extremely scarce profession, and he did not want to lose his employees.
Everything (in such cases) is evacuated, but the main thing is the specialists, especially the engineering and technical staff,” Sorokin said.
"He understands perfectly well that if this evacuation is not carried out, then the Russians, after liberation, will immediately start these mines to work, include them in the Russian economic complex. And these miners will be happy to work for the Russian state," the expert added.
