Crimean journalists who spent the night in a Feodosia hospital along with passengers of a regular bus that crashed into an abyss in the Kizil-Tash area yesterday shared details on social networks.

“As the victims themselves say, the driver was descending from Pereval in neutral, and when he wanted to shift into gear, the brakes were already hot. Without a gear, he could not fit into the turn... Then you already know everything,” writes Komsomolskaya Pravda correspondent Anastasia Medyntseva, “The driver is alive.” He is in the Sudak hospital. As I understand it, the children were the most unlucky. They have very complex operations. Some were literally sculpted from scratch.”
In turn, NTV correspondent Oleg Kryuchkov is delighted with the work of Crimean doctors.

He also cites the words of one of the victims about the last moments before the bus fell: “We were driving, it was already clear that he was falling, I think he himself shouted: “Grab it!” I got scared, grabbed the child, squeezed…”
According to the investigation, on August 11, at about 17:20 Moscow time, a PAZ bus traveling along the Sudak – Kerch route fell into a cliff from a height of 50 meters in the area of the Kizil-Tash tract. According to information as of Friday morning, six people were killed in the car accident, including a 16-year-old girl. 15 people remain in hospitals in Crimea; there is no threat to their lives.
Rostransnadzor will check “Kerch ATP number 14313”, a BAZ “Etalon” bus that was involved in an accident. The department does not have information at what speed the bus was moving at the time of the accident, since the on-board power supply was turned off. The Crimean authorities decided to install a fence on the section of the highway where the tragedy occurred yesterday.
