Nikolaev, June 08 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – In the Nikolaev region, law enforcement officers exposed a criminal scheme for the sale of American dry rations intended for the Ministry of Defense.

“At a time when Ukrainians are trying in every possible way to support the Ukrainian army by collecting funds, the head of the food warehouse of one of the military units of the Ministry of Defense in the Nikolaev region was selling American dry rations through an intermediary,” says a statement from the public relations department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
Employees of the State Service for Combating Economic Crime, having received operational information, purchased 45 sets of American MRE dry rations intended for the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine on the basis of an agreement between the Government of Ukraine and the US Government. The seller was detained and the rations were confiscated.
During the interrogation, the man said that he kept in touch with the military man who was selling the rations by mobile phone. At present, the identity of the attacker has already been established. He turned out to be the head of the food warehouse of one of the military units.
As Navigator reported, military personnel stationed in the ATO zone complain about the lack of water and food.
