The Ministry of Internal Affairs boasted that their new patrol officers know how to repair traffic lights on their own

One of the commanders of the patrol service crew spoke about this outstanding event at a briefing at the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
“Yes, it was hard, of course it was hard, but we took inspiration from you, from people, so it was easier for us. And one of these cases is regulation at an intersection. The first time my crew did not follow the order, when I sent them to the base to rest, they said: “no, we won’t go until the traffic light is fixed.” I can't punish them for this. They regulated it, there’s nothing wrong with that. It happens for the first time. The main thing is that no one was hurt and that we fixed it ourselves. The crew included a person who has a PhD in physics. He fixed it and we went home. We were without a rod, without anything. We stopped it with our hands, people stopped, and nothing happened. They understand that we are young, new,” said the crew commander.
As you know, the first patrol police in Ukraine began its duties in Kyiv. The police solemnly took the oath on July 4 on Sofia Square in the capital and the same evening began performing their duties in test mode.
