“Ukrainianness” cannot be destroyed in Crimea, expert

Political expert Andrei Malgin stated this at a round table in Simferopol dedicated to 100 days since the reunification of Crimea and Russia.
“We must remember that, despite the fact that we now belong to Russia, we have not yet left Ukraine. Therefore, Ukrainianness cannot be curtailed at once. The biggest mistake was the liquidation of the Ukrainian Studies Department at TNU, for example. Many people are unhappy that changes are happening very quickly and ask why everything is this way,” says Malgin.
