This was announced by the Chinese Ambassador to Ukraine Du Wei.
“How many Chinese tourists visited Ukraine last year? According to my data, 20 thousand, which is 1/100 of the total flow of Chinese tourists in the international space,” the diplomat said on Friday in Kyiv at a press conference on the occasion of the establishment of the 25th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Ukraine and China.
The Ambassador also noted that the governments of both countries could make more efforts to increase these indicators.
“We expect that Ukrainian politicians will provide more benefits to increase the number of tourists,” he concluded.
