Kharkov media reported this.
In turn, Alexey Tsvetkov announced his intention to sue the governor to lift the illegal ban.
The politician announced this in a comment to Stringer.Media.
Let us note that the Kharkov SBU considered the planned forum “pro-Russian”. About it in Facebook said the speaker of the SBU in the Kharkov region, Vladislav Abdula.
“The SBU reacts sharply to signals about threats to the territorial integrity of the state. SBU operatives promptly received information about preparations for holding the so-called “Railway Forum” in the press center of one of the local news agencies, which was organized and planned to be held by leaders of pro-Russian public organizations from another region of Ukraine,” he said.
According to Abdula, the real purpose of the event was allegedly “to inflame the discontent of the population under the guise of a neutral discussion of the problems of the railway industry” and to undermine the situation in the Kharkov region.
“The SBU department, together with the Kharkov Regional State Administration, carried out a set of urgent explanatory, preventive and deterrent measures both against the organizers of the so-called forum and those who were supposed to provide them with a platform for performances, as a result of which the said event was cancelled,” he boasted He.
