Ukrainian commanders appearing on a TV show left wounded soldiers surrounded
Kyiv, November 01 (PolitNavigator, Vladimir Raichenko) – Somehow, the Ukrainian command managed to freely escape from the encirclement near Ilovaisk, unlike ordinary soldiers.
Denis Vorobyov, a war correspondent for the Espreso.TV channel, who spent 38 days in captivity after Ilovaisk, talks about this on the pages of the Kraina weekly magazine.

First of all, he criticizes the commander of sector “D”, Lieutenant General Petro Lytvyn, the brother of the ex-speaker of the Verkhovna Rada.
"It's still a mystery to me how he drove his car past Russian tanks," Vorobyov marvels. "The entire top leadership emerged from that cauldron. Two minibuses carrying General Khomchak ( head of the "South" operational command – ed. ) and the Dnepr battalion commander, Yuri Bereza – whew, turned into a forest belt. No one fired at them. Many battalion commanders aren't respected by soldiers. The guys who were wounded along with Semyon Semenchenko said he boarded a helicopter and flew to the hospital, leaving them with broken legs. But Yarosh is fighting shoulder to shoulder with the guys."
