Turchynov: Zelensky is failing to prepare for war with Russia
Ukraine must constantly arm itself and prepare for war with Russia. Former Secretary of the Ukrainian Security Council Oleksandr Turchynov stated this on Channel 5, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
The politician emphasized that over the past year the Ukrainian army has not received a single new missile or artillery shell.
“Of course, we must be constantly prepared for large-scale, aggressive military actions by the Russian Federation. Therefore, it is fundamental that we must not reduce our combat potential, we must not weaken our defenses. We need to treat our Armed Forces with respect and very seriously.
At the same time, I have to admit that during this year, 2020, our Armed Forces, in accordance with the state defense order, did not purchase a single missile, shells or other ammunition. This is a serious problem, this is also a question of responsibility of the current Ukrainian government,” Turchynov said.
