Tymoshenko: There was a full-scale invasion of the Russian army
Ukraine must get used to living in conditions of constant war, as Israel does.
This was stated from the rostrum of the Verkhovna Rada by Verkhovna Rada deputy and former Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to Tymoshenko, yesterday’s recognition by Russia of the independence of the DPR and LPR is only the beginning of pressure on Ukraine.
“Yesterday there was an official, full-scale invasion of the territory of Ukraine by the Russian army, and we must act adequately. I am convinced that what we have now seen is only the beginning of pressure on Ukraine, an encroachment on our sovereignty and our independence. And we must be prepared for this. We need to learn to live the way Israel lives,” the politician said.
“With a successful Ukraine, a successful economy, a happy people and an unprecedentedly strong army that can implement a containment strategy and protect our borders,” Tymoshenko said.
