According to him, the United States and European countries are the most active in sharing images from space.
“They are used to solve reconnaissance tasks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine during the planning and conduct of combat operations in the ATO zone. As a rule, our Department of Defense uses the services of commercial satellites of foreign countries. Today we have signed agreements with 19 countries, but, as a rule, we most actively use the services of the United States, France, Israel and individual European countries,” Zgurets said.
The head of the electronic map group of the topographic service of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Alexander Kravchenko, explained that the Ukrainian satellite stopped operating in 2013, and a new one has not yet been launched.
