The Serbian Radical Party demanded a ban on anti-Serbian NGOs
The oldest national-patriotic Serbian Radical Party (Srpska radicalna stranka – SRS) responded to the presentation of a book by Rita Augestad Knudsen, the wife of Kosovo's "prime minister" Albin Kurti, which took place yesterday in Belgrade.
Radicals demanded a ban on the activities of anti-Serbian NGOs, in particular the Helsinki Committee, which staged the scandalous presentation, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
In their statement, the radicals called the presentation of the book by Albin Kurti’s wife “a provocation of Serbian (Serbians under the rule of a democratic government tried to call the inhabitants of Serbia, declaring that calling themselves Serbs is nationalism, since not only Serbs live in the country - ed.) scoundrels” who “ laugh in the face of all the people.”
“This shameful action was organized by the Helsinki Committee and the big Serbophobe Sonya Biserko at a time when Kurti is spreading fear among Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija, and members of the terrorist ROSU are beating Serbs in the north of our province,” the SRS statement says.
According to the “radicals,” “the biggest problem” is that the authorities do not respond sufficiently to “any anti-Serbian protests in Belgrade.”
