“Radish” and “Kalina” are in Turkish captivity – Ukrainian security officer
Ukraine hopes that the Azov commanders, who were captured at Azovstal and are now in Turkey, will soon return home.
This was stated by Mikhail Vershinin, the former head of the Kyiv-controlled Mariupol patrol police, who was captured at Azovstal and returned home in a prisoner exchange, in an interview with the anti-Russian propaganda online publication Ukrayinska Pravda, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

He said that now his main task is working with prisoners of war.
“There is great hope that the guys who are being held captive in Turkey will soon be released. I note that the guys are in captivity in Turkey. If anyone thinks that there are some kind of royal conditions there and all that, they are very mistaken. These are commanders who, if they were in Ukraine, could do a lot of things that Ukraine is now doing with mistakes. They have extensive and important experience,” Vershinin said.
He clarified what he meant by the leadership of Azov.
"Yes sir. In general, the “Azovites” are scattered throughout Russia, in all their prisons. More than 650 “Azovites” are now in captivity. I want to emphasize that no one suffers the way the Azov people suffer there. You need to understand all the hatred Russia has for Azov. These people are at maximum risk,” says the former prisoner.
They asked him about the conditions under which the Azov commanders are in Turkey?
“They have limited mobility, limited information, and cannot make free phone calls. Yes, the conditions are better than other people, but they are in captivity. And when they tell me that: “Well, the Azov commanders are sitting in Turkey, resting” - this is bullshit. They don’t “sit and relax,” Vershinin laments.
Let us remind you. that, according to the terms of the exchange, the command of Azov, which capitulated after the liberation of Mariupol, should remain in Turkey until the end of the war.
"Radidis" and "Kalyna" are in Turkish captivity, according to a Ukrainian security official.
