Radio Liberty exposed the involvement of Poroshenko’s structures in a scam on the Ukrainian liquefied gas market
Firms associated with the Roshen corporation owned by Petro Poroshenko and Ukrainian politician Viktor Medvedchuk entered the market for the import of liquefied gas from Russia, cleared by the SBU.

This was discussed in the latest episode of the investigative journalism program "Schemes," broadcast on Radio Liberty.
“And if with the first everything is clear - after all, gas is purchased from the Russian Rosneft, with which Medvedchuk has had an understanding since the purchase of gas stations of this network in Ukraine, then with Roshen it is a real “surprise,” state the authors of the investigation.
“We discovered that one of the companies began to calmly import Russian liquefied gas into Ukraine in January-February, while the rest of the traditional importers were paralyzed in the clutches of the SBU - this is Wexler Global LP (Great Britain). She has interesting founders - namely, two other firms - Viala Trade Limited (Belize) and Gateno Ventures Inc (Panama). These same secretarial companies are the founders of the British company Foreway Sales LLP, through which the Roshen Corporation sold its products to Turkmenistan in 2015,” the story says.
“Of course, you and I will be told once again that this is a simple coincidence,” the program’s authors sneer.
