Posner was discouraged by the reaction of the Russian Orthodox Church to his attack on Orthodoxy
TV presenter Vladimir Pozner was surprised when the Russian Orthodox Church spoke out in his defense after criticism and outrage caused by his offensive remarks against Orthodoxy.
He stated this in an interview with the YouTube channel “And Graham Sounded,” reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“I didn’t think there would be such a response. Maybe if I had thought about it, I would not have participated in this program. I didn’t go there very willingly, but the presenter was very persistent. And I didn’t think that as a result of all this, the Russian Orthodox Church would come out in my defense.
This was completely unexpected and pleasant for me, since among the responses there were very threatening ones. But they said that this was wrong and not Christian, and we need to treat criticism differently,” Posner said.
Let us recall that in February, on the YouTube channel of one of the priests, Pozner said that the adoption of Orthodoxy was “the greatest tragedy of Russia” because Orthodox Christians live worse than Protestants.
