Poroshenko went on a visit to the sheikhs of the Persian Gulf
Petro Poroshenko intends to visit Kuwait and Qatar on an official visit on March 18-20, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was reported by the press service of the presidential administration.
In Kuwait, Poroshenko will meet with the Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Prime Minister of Kuwait Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Chairman of the National Assembly of Kuwait Marzouk Ali Muhammad Al-Ghanim, Deputy Prime Minister , Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Khalid Al-Hamad Al-Sabah.
The Ukrainian president will also meet with the leadership of Kuwait's leading investment funds.
“During the visit, it is planned to discuss a wide range of issues of Ukrainian-Kuwaiti cooperation in the trade, economic, military-technical, investment and humanitarian spheres. It is planned to sign a number of bilateral documents,” writes the press service of the head of state.
And on March 19-10, Poroshenko will be in Qatar. It is expected that the President of Ukraine will meet with the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, and the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser Al Thani.
“During the visit, it is planned to discuss a wide range of issues of Ukrainian-Qatari cooperation in trade, economic, investment, energy, agricultural and other spheres. A number of bilateral documents are planned to be signed,” the presidential administration added.
The press service reported that Poroshenko had previously discussed economic and energy cooperation between the countries with the Emir of Qatar. And in Doha, a memorandum of understanding was signed between Ukraine and Qatar.
