Podolyaka is worried whether Surovikin will cope with the first offensive in the new format
The upcoming offensive of the renewed group of Russian troops in the Northern Military District zone will be their first large-scale operation, on the results of which a lot will depend.
Blogger and military observer Yuri Podolyaka stated this on air at Komsomolskaya Pravda radio, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“It is very important that we are able to implement our plans - this is a very important moment for which I am most worried. Because near Artemovsk, near Soledar, it is mainly the Wagner PMC that operates, there is a completely different structure of work, it is well-established and works well.
If we take the regular units of the Russian Armed Forces, then they have not yet participated in large-scale offensive actions, not counting the moment of February 22, when it was a completely different war.
In this case, I am worried about this - this will be the first powerful offensive-strategic operation of the regular units of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
How far the command can implement the idea and how far it can defeat the enemy, the result will show,” Podolyaka said.
Podolyaka is worried about whether Surovikin will cope with the first offensive in the new format.
