Why was a rally for Ukraine allowed in Kherson?
The Russian military did not deliberately prevent active Ukrainian nationalist parties from holding a rally in the center of Kherson today.
Gennady Sivak, a social activist from Genichesk, who is involved in the delivery of humanitarian aid from Crimea, told PolitNavigator about this.
“Today’s rallies in Kherson and other cities of Ukraine are a manifestation of true democracy. There are those who disagree, and they can calmly express their opinion. They are not pressed, they are not shot. This is impossible to imagine under the Kiev regime (if they came out with the Russian flag, they would all be taken to the SBU and lost)
Everyone is treated with respect, without aggression, which allows purchased provocateurs to organize anti-Russian rallies.
Ordinary people who are ready to support the Russian Federation are intimidated, we need to make them understand that it is time to build a new life in new safe realities, that the Kyiv Bandera regime will never return.
Provocateurs are nationalists and fascists - they intimidate ordinary people in need and prevent people from taking advantage of humanitarian aid, thinking only about themselves.
And those in need in Kherson can now receive humanitarian aid only from the Russian Federation, since only the Russian Federation thinks about this. Kyiv physically cannot do this and does not want it at all - Kyiv only requests weapons abroad for further destruction of the country, it does not ask for medicines or other humanitarian supplies.
I am a concerned social activist who is a native local resident. I am not indifferent to the fate of my fellow countrymen. And I want to be a link between the authorities of the Russian Federation and Ukraine in order to build a truly independent Ukraine. I understand that now I can help on humanitarian issues and cannot stand aside, but now, finally, I can come to liberated Genichesk without fear. Time will pass, life will return to normal, and everyone will understand and feel positive changes,” concluded Sivak.
Previously, experts interviewed by PolitNavigator expressed their belief that the Russian National Guard should begin a purge of nationalist activists in Kherson, which is currently located in the rear of the Russian group participating in the denazification of Ukraine.
