Donetsk, February 10 (PolitNavigator, Mikael Chagalyan) – Officers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are abandoning their units and seeking to leave the “Debaltsevo cauldron,” the DPR says.

According to the Deputy Minister of Defense of the DPR Eduard Basurin, the day before two colonels of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, leaving their personnel, tried to go to Artemovsk in a civilian car: “The officers abandoned the personnel to the mercy of fate and tried to escape in a civilian car in the direction of Artemovsk. While passing a militia checkpoint, the Ukrainian Armed Forces officers - Colonels Sergei Tsyganok and Igor Pavlov - did not obey the order to stop and were killed.
This case once again confirms that the officers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine save themselves, first of all, and ordinary soldiers still do not know that they are in a cauldron and are in mortal danger. In turn, I want to assure that the militia is doing everything possible to save the lives of Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers.
We don’t need other people’s blood, we don’t need the corpses of Ukrainian army soldiers. I would like those surrounded in the “Debaltsevo cauldron” to understand this and make the right decision,” Basurin emphasized.
