Ukraine's promised economic growth is canceled
Ukraine’s budget for 2021 includes GDP growth of 4,6%, which is a radical mistake.
Former Deputy Chairman of the NBU Board Oleksandr Savchenko announced this at a press conference in Kyiv, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“It is very difficult to forecast economic growth for next year at 4,6% when we do not know exactly what the decline will be this year. In general, in such conditions it is impossible to predict anything further than 3 months.
Therefore, I would recommend viewing this budget as temporary, which will definitely be changed, perhaps even in the first quarter, if it is not implemented from the first month, that is, the reality will be completely different from what is included in this budget.
Setting high rates of economic growth at 4,6% is a radical mistake. The President and Prime Minister stated that even at the end of this year there will be rapid growth in the third quarter. This is absolute nonsense. God grant that it be zero. I'm forecasting zero plus or minus one percent for the final quarter, not growth. Therefore, even in the first quarter of next year, even if we grow, it will be no more than 1-1,5%,” Savchenko said.
