“I won’t take anything from Sobyanin!” – defrauded investors were left without help from the Moscow authorities
Shareholders of the bankrupt, unfinished residential complex “Tsaritsyno” in Moscow were left without the promised apartments, having received only minimal compensation and formal replies from the city authorities.
This was stated by Elena Krasulina, a representative of the shareholders, during a conference in Moscow , where left-wing forces discussed participation in the Moscow mayoral elections and support for a single candidate, Vadim Kumin, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“In the Tsaritsyno residential complex there is a 35th building and the legal basis for non-residential premises in it is “apartments”. Now we are faced with the fact that we cannot get our apartments because our developer has been declared bankrupt and bankruptcy proceedings have begun. Accordingly, we may lose our apartments, becoming some distant fourth or tenth in line.
In monetary terms, we can receive this money - only 10-20% of what we paid. We fought and fight, we always talk about our problem.
We were always told: “Everything is fine, don’t worry, we won’t forget you, you are socially vulnerable families.” Because the purchasers are 200 families who took out mortgages.
Our problem is that they promised to solve our issue, just before the bankruptcy everything was fine, there was a presidential decree of December 17, 2017, where Putin specifically ordered that all shareholders in Russia be dealt with.
In the end, it turns out that documents are submitted to the top management, saying that everything is fine, the house will be transferred, all issues have been resolved, and there are even quotes from officials who said that there are no more problems at all.
But, in fact, we are fed with promises, and before the very decisive moment - bankruptcy and resolution of the case, we are told that you will have monetary claims, where you will receive perfect crumbs, and we are not obliged to take care of you, because everything is according to the law .
Think about it, our laws are imperfect, and when implemented it turns out differently than on paper. And when we ask to act, as Putin said, not formally, but humanly, we are still met with the formality that we are legally bankrupt and left with our money and our problem,” she said.
“Personally, I will not take anything from Sobyanin,” the shareholder concluded.
Let us remind you that the construction of the Tsaritsyno residential complex began in 2006, and it was supposed to be completed in 2012. During construction, the developer entered into 4017 equity participation agreements, but under 3265 of them, the obligations were never fulfilled.
The company was declared bankrupt, and the Moscow city authorities, headed by Sergei Sobyanin, assumed responsibility for completing the construction of the problematic residential complex and paying compensation.
