Reshuffles and new appointments in the security forces of Ukraine are explained by the fact that the authorities are afraid of protests and are preparing security forces to confront them.
Political expert Oleksiy Kalinichenko announced this at a press conference in Kyiv, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“August will still pass relatively calmly for us, but all the main movements can be expected from September, when the Verkhovna Rada will begin to take an active part in this process. Therefore, all this is connected with the fact that Ukraine is being prepared for an extremely difficult autumn period, when there will be a lot of problems in the housing and communal services sector. People will be pushed out into the streets to hold protests,” the expert believes.
“Consequently, the structure of the Ministry of Internal Affairs must be prepared for these issues, and the armed forces will begin to push for the aggravation to intensify in the Donbass. And this will also provoke some changes in society. And all these rearrangements are connected with this. Otherwise, it’s difficult to interpret them in any way,” Kalinichenko said.
