“We are already occupied!” – Russophobe about Ukrainian television
Watching Ukrainian TV channels, one gets the feeling that Ukraine has already lost the war and has been captured by Russia.
This was stated by Oleksiy Klyashtorny, co-coordinator of the Ukrainian Action movement, during a press conference in Kiev, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“I think everyone has the feeling that Ukrainian television is a Moscowized, or one of the most Moscowized, spheres of our life. Turning on Ukrainian television, it often seems that the occupation, which we are all so afraid of now, and the onset of war, have already happened.
There is a strong feeling that the occupation has already successfully arrived, and we are not in free, but in occupied Ukraine. At least this is what the picture looks like on the central TV channels of Ukrainian television,” Klyashtorny said.
As a reminder, Lviv previously noted that the Ukrainian leadership needs to combat the Russification of residents in some regions, as they allegedly might not even notice Russia's invasion.
