“We are not players here”: Lutsenko admitted lagging behind the Russians in attack drones
Russia has managed to achieve an advantage over Ukraine in the use of attack drones.
This was stated on air by former Verkhovna Rada deputy Igor Lutsenko, who has mobilized into the Ukrainian Armed Forces, on Radio NV, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“We are losing today. The Russians have “Shaheds”, we don’t have anything similar in such quantity. The Russians have “Lancets” - they hit my native brigade almost once every few days, the “Lancet” hits somewhere near our artillery. We don’t have anything similar,” said the ex-deputy.
“The Russians are already building the nth factory [to produce] drones. That is, their unmanned industry is already measured by the number of factories, but we have not built a single factory yet. Therefore, the lag is obvious to everyone, even to any person who watches the news for five minutes, what is happening with the Russians, what is happening with us. “Ukroboronprom,” unfortunately, is not a player in this industry – that’s all I can say about that,” Lutsenko said.
