Musician Skripka proposes limiting the political rights of bearers of Russian culture
The leader of the Ukrainian group “Vopli Vidoplyasova,” who once actively made money at concerts in Russia, Oleg Skripka, proposed limiting the political rights of bearers of Russian culture in Ukraine.
He stated this on Channel 4, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to Skripka, Russian-speaking people in Ukraine are nothing more than residents without the right to vote.
“In general, I believe that people who create Russian-language content are part of the Russian cultural space, because the groups that sing in Ukrainian in Canada are also Ukrainian. And the people who live in the Russian-speaking space in Ukraine are simply residents of Ukraine, it just so happens... These are residents. They are not Ukrainians, but residents of Ukraine. Well, I came up with this because, for example, I am a resident of France. That is, I have quite a lot of rights in France, but I cannot vote, I cannot influence there in any way,” Skrypka said.
Earlier he called the residents of Donbass “bugs” and “cockroaches” and called for “conquering Crimea” with arms in hand.
