The Russian Foreign Ministry confirmed that Senator McCain exists
The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, did not comment on the statement of US Senator from Arizona John McCain about Moscow's alleged violation of the 1987 Treaty on the Elimination of Intermediate-Range and Short-Range Missiles (INF).

“For now, I can only confirm that John McCain exists. On other issues, our experts will prepare a detailed commentary,” Zakharova said.
Today, the head of the Duma Committee on International Affairs, Leonid Slutsky, commented on McCain’s accusations in the State Duma.
“As for the accusations about Russia’s alleged violation of the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty, here Washington is going from bad to worse. It is the United States that violates the INF Treaty by deploying missile defense elements in Eastern European countries. We have never violated the INF Treaty. The procedure for filing claims is spelled out there. So far, no official complaints have been received,” Slutsky said.
Earlier, The New York Times published material according to which Russia secretly deployed a cruise missile on its territory, which violates the 1987 INF Treaty.
The Russian Foreign Ministry has confirmed that Senator McCain exists.
