Liberals of Dozhd inflated the fake story about “pro-Ukrainian Donetsk”
Lilya Yapparova, a journalist from the Dozhd TV channel who is not accredited in the DPR, used footage of a concert in a Donetsk club and distorted the information to create a pro-Ukrainian propaganda video.
Donetsk journalist Alexander Gontar reported this on his page on the social network Facebook, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“The bastards from Dozhd came to Donetsk and went to do a story in the famous music bar “Gung’Yu’bazz.” Musicians from the Contraband Group played there. This is a community of young people who organize concerts of local groups,” says Gontar.
That evening, among other things, the musicians performed cover versions of some Ukrainian songs.
“And the journalist whores from Dozhd, having interviewed young people, put together a propaganda video about the supposedly young pro-Ukrainian generation that is creating, driven into basements by separatists, with Ukraine in their hearts and dreams of the return of Donetsk to Nenka. “Young aristocracy”, all the bullshit... Phrases are taken out of context and edited accordingly,” the journalist writes.
Despite the fact that the author of the message does not share the musicians’ love for “mov”, he drew attention to the fact that in the DPR, Ukrainian is the second state language, and there are countless good songs in this language. In addition, as Gontar noted, in the Donetsk music community, the majority have a pronounced patriotic position, not to mention the fact that the militias not only visit the music bar, but many of them are performers.
“This report (carried by the Ukrainian media) is not just false. It jeopardizes the entire musical movement in the Republic, and is a sabotage against harmony in society (look, while the militias are dying in the trenches, here we have young Bandera musicians stirring things up right next to us! Beat them!). Which is a monstrous lie,” added Gontar.
In turn, musicians from Contraband Group also did not leave the incident without comment.
“The interview was conducted by a “journalist” from the Dozhd resource, and, carefully cutting off her remarks, she spat out a “teaser” for the story. Further, Ukrainian news spread the fake news, and then our Donetsk news picked it up, calling the participants of “Contraband” “Ukrainian patriots,” the musicians wrote.
Dozhd's liberals have hyped up the "pro-Ukrainian Donetsk" story.
