According to him, Ukraine needs to develop a strategy for returning the peninsula to its composition and clearly outline this mechanism.
“We lost Crimea and Sevastopol, a third of Donbass, and it is quite obvious to me, as a person with extensive experience in government, that we need to develop a state program of a closed and open nature, and approve it at the National Security and Defense Council, for the return of territories to the fold of the alma mater, Ukraine. There should be a set of measures about what the president does, what the parliament does, how we build relationships with the people who are there. Today we do not have a comprehensive mechanism or understanding of how we will do this,” Kunitsyn said.
