Kobolev wants to buy gas from the USA
Chairman of the Board of the National Joint Stock Company Naftogaz of Ukraine Andriy Kobolev stated that Ukraine will receive American gas, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
He said this in an interview with the Voice of America.
“We are negotiating on this matter,” Kobolev said in response to a question about the possibility of receiving gas from the United States, “and I must say that this time we have come very close to this issue. This is not a final decision yet, but there is interest on both sides. I hope that in the near future this interest will be transformed into concrete gas flows.”
Previously, the European Commission planned to hold the next trilateral gas negotiations after the elections in Ukraine.
