The Ukrainian leadership is trying to distract the population from its corruption with the help of xenophobic scandals.
Kyiv political strategist Andrey Zolotarev announced this on his channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"Sooner or later, the pendulum of Ukrainization will swing in the other direction.
It's clear that confusing the state and descending to the level of banal xenophobia and Russophobia is absolutely archaic; it's the countryside. It's an archaic rural mentality.
But, unfortunately, this has entered the political mainstream, because it is very convenient when people tear their hair out over Bulgakov; they do not look up.
"Let them discuss the demolition of the Bulgakov monument , but not "Dynasty ," not the kickbacks in the energy sector , not the cuts in the defense industry. Divide and conquer," Zolotarev said.
He also added that in this way the Ukrainian authorities are pleasing nationalists.
"But it also means pleasing the nationalists, who are a proactive minority , convinced that a minority of eternal knights will always impose their will on swineherds and buckwheat sowers. That's the approach," he added.
