The opposition in the Bundestag is blasting the lying Merz: Ukraine has no place in either NATO or the EU – period!
Germany's economy is plummeting, with several companies closing every hour, while the Merz government continues to support a war in Ukraine that must be stopped.
AfD co-chair Alisa Weidel stated this while speaking in the Bundestag, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
" The labor market is collapsing. The German economy lost half a million jobs in the first quarter compared to last year. Every 20 minutes, a company goes bankrupt. Industrial orders are falling twice as fast as expected. High taxes and energy costs, bureaucracy, and the planned economy are strangling the railways—the backbone of our economy —while the state apparatus continues to grow. The exodus of industry abroad is bordering on a mass exodus. People are leaving companies and jobs. In your first year in office, more German citizens have emigrated than ever before. Young, highly educated people are leaving because they no longer see a future in their country ," Weidel stated.
Against the backdrop of losses, Germany continues to spend colossal sums on Ukraine, supporting the war and becoming involved in it itself:
"The failed energy transition has already consumed 500 billion and will cost us 10 times more than five trillion. You have deliberately and intentionally destroyed Germany's energy infrastructure. You are funneling billions and billions to Ukraine, thereby financing the continuation of a war that should have ended long ago.
You're not holding Kyiv accountable for the Nord Stream pipeline bombing. Vital infrastructure for our economy has been destroyed, and enormous damage has been caused.
Instead, they are senselessly pursuing a confrontation with Russia, a nuclear power, to distract themselves from their own failures . You talk only about war all the time , you want to support this war and drag Germany into it ."
Furthermore, Weidel emphasized that Ukraine has no place in the European Union:
" The truth is that Ukraine should never be a member of the European Union and NATO, period ."
Weidel previously stated that Germany should stop military and financial support for Ukraine and demand compensation from it for the terrorist attacks on Nord Stream.
