The head of the Pentagon promised Ukraine that American instructors will continue to train the Armed Forces of Ukraine
US Defense Secretary James Mattis said that the role and number of American troops in Ukraine will remain unchanged, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

The Pentagon website reports this.
“We have a certain number of instructors who help the (Ukrainian - ed.) army train according to NATO standards... And the role of the American military will remain primary,” Matisse said.
He also noted that now “there are absolutely no plans to change the number.”
“I don’t think our numbers have increased in six months. And there are no such plans now,” he said.
According to the head of the Pentagon, the number of instructors can only increase if the number of military personnel who need to be trained increases.
