The EU has temporarily allowed Ukraine to supply more honey, tomatoes, corn and oats to its market
The Council of the European Union has approved temporary unilateral trade preferences for Ukraine.

This was reported in a document posted on the official EU website, Deutsche Welle reports.
New quotas include natural honey - 2,5 thousand tons, processed tomatoes - 3 thousand tons, grape juice - 500 tons, oats - 4 thousand tons, wheat - 65 thousand tons, corn - 625 thousand tons, barley - 325 thousand tons, cereals and flour - 7,8 thousand tons.
In addition, customs duties on supplies from Ukraine of copper, aluminum, fertilizers, dyes, shoes, televisions and recording equipment have been abolished.
Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine Natalia Mykolskaya clarified that the temporary autonomous trade measures of the European Union for Ukraine will begin in the fall of 2017.
“Yesterday we received news that EU countries at the ambassadorial level approved a compromise option for providing Ukraine with additional quotas for our products, agricultural products and for the removal of duties on industrial products,” Mikolskaya said.
According to her, formal approval of this decision by the European Parliament and the EU Council is now expected.
“We will still have these additional quotas and trade preferences for the fall,” the deputy minister said.
