“The result of three years of civil war in Ukraine is, first of all, an obvious tragedy for the entire people, the ongoing severe economic crisis that both Ukraine and the republics are experiencing.
Unfortunately, the prospect of events is now visible; apparently, this will end in a long-term smoldering conflict.
The position of official Ukraine, as we know, is actually clear. If at the political level it is still said that the Ukrainian leadership intends to end the war, then in the applied version this, naturally, does not happen, because the leaders of Ukraine are very much interested in ensuring that this war continues further.
If there is a political elite in Ukraine interested in ending the armed confrontation, then there will be no problems either with negotiations with the LPR and DPR, or with the implementation of the points of the Minsk Agreements, especially the political part. If people come to power in Ukraine who think not only about their well-being, but about the population of the country, then this war will end immediately,” Denisov argues.
