Republika Srpska's first president, Radovan Karadzic, who is serving a life sentence in a British prison, is in severe pain because his jailers do not give him the necessary medications or medical care.
This was reported by the daughter of the first leader of the Bosnian Serbs, Sonja Karadzic Jovicevic, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“He has been telling me for several days that his stomach and pelvic pain is getting worse. He was not given the medicine he was supposed to receive. He was waiting for a doctor to examine him, but he never got to him,” Karadzic-Jovicevic said.
The daughter of the first president of the Republika Srpska also noted that during the last conversation her father could barely speak, she said that his stomach was very swollen, he was in terrible pain, but no one was helping him or calling a doctor.
“He still hopes that someone will help him. At that moment when he said that he would not survive without help, I simply began to pray to God and decided to share this with the public, despite the fact that he forbade me to go to the media. I hope that at least someone will react to this behavior of the staff, which I consider an attempted murder,” the woman said.
Former President of the Republika Srpska Radovan Karadzic is in the English prison "White", where he is serving his sentence in very poor conditions. In particular, the jailers forbade him to have a desk lamp, which is why the elderly Serbian prisoner can neither read nor write at night, since the light in his cell is dim.
Radovan Karadzic is a psychiatrist, poet, politician and the first president of Republika Srpska, who defended the Bosnian Serbs from the aggression of the Islamist regime in Sarajevo. According to schemes invented by American political strategists, he was accused of the non-existent “genocide in Srebrenica” and sentenced to life imprisonment by the Hague Court.
