Right Sector fighters are diligently removing weapons from the ATO zone: they say they are trophies
Khmelnytsky, August 19 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – In the Khmelnytsky region, traffic police detained a car with an arsenal of weapons: Right Sector fighters, returning from the ATO, were transporting machine guns, grenade launchers and explosives.

According to law enforcement officers, there were 5 people in the Fiat Fiorino. In the trunk of the car they found four machine guns, a hand-held anti-tank grenade launcher, an under-barrel grenade launcher, 19 electric detonators, two improvised explosive devices, 21 grenades of various types, a traumatic pistol and almost 1000 rounds of ammunition.
“Yes, these are our people. Partly the weapons are fighters, and they have permission to use them, and partly they are captured weapons that the terrorists managed to capture. Since the weapons that were handed over to police stations directly in the ATO zone were returned to the terrorists, it was decided to hand them over to law enforcement officers in Khmelnytskyi. The guys fought in the East and returned home to rest. Now they are free. Criminal proceedings have been opened in only one fighter,” explained the leader of the Right Sector in the Khmelnytsky region, Anatoly Medvedchuk.
The press service of the regional police reported that criminal proceedings have been initiated on this fact under Part 1 of Art. 263 (illegal handling of weapons, ammunition or explosives) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The weapons and ammunition have now been seized and sent for examination.
As Navigator reported, earlier, near Lvov, fighters of the Transcarpathian Right Sector were detained, who were also transporting weapons from the ATO zone.
