Crimean Tatar activists accused Chubarov of betraying the people
Simferopol, January 22 (PolitNavigator, Semyon Dmitriev) – Chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatars Refat Chubarov betrayed his people by escaping from Crimea.

This opinion was expressed at a press conference in Simferopol by the representative of the Civil Activists of the Crimean Tatar people, Eyvaz Umerov.
“Refat Chubarov betrayed us. He did not seek dialogue in new conditions, having fled and left his people, and while far away, he is trying to express the opinion of three hundred thousand people. A leader must be close to his compatriots,” he said.
According to Eyvaz Umerov, representatives of the Crimean Tatar people in the Crimean government “bring more benefits than the actions of Refat Chubarov, who is in Ukraine.”
“On their page they (Refat Chubarov and representatives of the Majlis - PolitNavigator) are engaged in populism, declaring that somewhere, someone is being humiliated, insulted, oppressed. However, they are not communicators between the people and the authorities, they do not enter into dialogue,” the social activist concluded.
