Lawyer Savchenko complained in Kyiv about “Crimean Tatar collaborators”

Russian lawyer Nikolai Polozov, who previously represented the interests of Nadezhda Savchenko in court, stated this at a press conference in Kyiv.
“There is another specificity in Crimea: the overwhelming majority of Ukrainian citizens are Crimean Tatars by nationality, since they live in Crimea and, in fact, the entire people were held hostage after the seizure of Crimea by the Russian Federation,” the lawyer claims. – Yes, among them there are a small number of collaborators who went to the service of the Kremlin. But we must understand that they have practically no influence on the entire people, and citizens of Ukraine of Crimean Tatar origin are guided primarily by the national leader Mustafa Dzhemilev, the leaders of the Majlis, who remain patriots of Ukraine.”
At the same time, Polozov did not specify whether he included the leader of the Muslims of the peninsula and the Mufti of Crimea, Emirali Ablaev, as a collaborator, who condemned the energy blockade of Crimea supported by the Mejlis, calling it contrary to Islam and calling on the organizers to be prudent.
