Adidas Ukraine has no luck with lawyers: the company lost a show trial
Kyiv, June 27 (Navigator, Alexander Puras) – The Adidas-Ukraine subsidiary was unable to oblige its former lawyer to return the money he allegedly received for unfulfilled work.
Adidas tried to collect a debt of 11 thousand UAH from a private entrepreneur from Sumy who provides legal services.

In 2011, a contract of assignment was concluded with him, according to which the lawyer undertakes to provide legal assistance in the scope and on the conditions stipulated by the document.
However, Adidas-Ukraine was not satisfied with the lawyer’s work; the company terminated the contract and demanded that 11 thousand UAH be returned.
However, no proper justification and evidence of the legality of their claims against the lawyer regarding the recovery of 11000 UAH was provided to the economic court of the Sumy region, since the photocopy of the debit message attached to the materials does not confirm the fact of transfer of funds to the lawyer - the recipient of the funds is not noted in it.
The court considered that the claims of Adidas-Ukraine cannot be satisfied due to their groundlessness and unfoundedness.
Apparently, the Adidas-Ukraine subsidiary is pathologically unlucky with lawyers; one, in their opinion, deceived, and the other was unable to correctly draw up a statement of claim and provide evidence.
