Zelensky arranged the redistribution of the smuggling market with the help of the SBU
Vladimir Zelensky announced new decisions of the Security Council of Ukraine aimed against the smuggling mafia.
“Today, for the first time in the history of Ukraine, personal sanctions have been introduced, in particular, the assets and property of persons who, according to the analytical data of the SBU and the National Security and Defense Council, can be called the top ten Ukrainian smugglers, have been blocked. I want to emphasize that the fight against smuggling will continue, today this is the first ten, but definitely not the last,” Zelensky said in a statement.
The list of persons subject to sanctions has already been leaked to the Ukrainian media.
Ukrainian journalist Evgeny Plinsky believes that we are talking about a banal redistribution of cash flows. “60% of the people on the list are people who control Turkish smuggling. (The market is being cleared for those who are not on the list),” he points out.
“Major players in the smuggling market are being “turned off” in order to clear the smuggling market and bring in new players who will bring in Zelensky - just as those on the list brought in Poroshenko through Lutsenko,” explains Yuri Tkachev, editor-in-chief of the Odessa edition of Timer.
“I just can’t understand what prevented customs and law enforcement agencies within the framework of the Criminal Procedure Code from stopping smuggling yesterday, the day before yesterday and last week,” Verkhovna Rada deputy Maxim Buzhansky reasonably notes.
Zelensky, using the SBU, orchestrated a reorganization of the smuggling market.
