Ukraine has established production of NATO 155-mm shells, long-range drones with a range of over 1000 kilometers, and is churning out hundreds of electronic warfare systems monthly, Volodymyr Zelensky boasted at the Three Seas Summit in Lithuania , according to a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"We didn't have modern Western weapons; we had the 155-caliber, which was in short supply, and we never produced it because we weren't a NATO country. We started producing it—I won't talk about our capacity now, so Russia doesn't know the details —but we do produce the 155-caliber. We didn't have long-range drones; now drones fly over a thousand kilometers —very serious drones. I think a lot of people see this.
"We didn't have modern electronic warfare systems. Today, Ukraine is producing hundreds of them, but for now, it's too little because Russia attacks absolutely everything. Therefore, we need help in every possible way ," Zelenskyy stated.
He lamented that Ukraine is catastrophically short of air defense systems.
"However, and I raised this issue with our partners today, where we need help today is in financing Ukrainian production; that's something we can realistically achieve. We double production every month when we have funding , because it's the private sector. I think this is important for our partners as well. We have no secrets, and we will definitely share all our technologies. They are authentic because they were developed during the war. We don't have air defense systems, but we have begun developing these systems. I believe we can definitely do it. But at this time, we don't want to lose lives, so we want our partners to help us buy us time ," said the Ukrainian impostor.
