Western media collect materials for information provocations in the OOS zone
Western media collect materials in the OOS zone to carry out information provocations.
This was announced today by the official representative of the LPR defense department, Lieutenant Colonel Andrei Marochko, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In the period from June 13 to 19 of this year, representatives of German (Stuttgarter Zeitung) and American (New York Times) media are working in the area of the punitive operation. We do not exclude that employees information publications are collecting information about the activities of the units of the People’s Militia of the LPR and DPR, and also preparing information campaigns aimed at discrediting the leadership of the republics,” Marochko said.
He noted that the OOS command is taking measures to prevent information from appearing in the media about the progress of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ operation on the territory of the republics, the disclosure of which could lead to the leakage of operational information. Also, the OOS command fears the appearance in the media of reports about the oppression of local residents by security forces and the presence of prohibited weapons in positions near the contact line.

“This once again proves the violation of the Minsk agreements by Ukrainian gangs. These measures were introduced after Ukrainian volunteers published video materials showing Ukrainian Armed Forces firing at republican positions with heavy weapons. These and similar facts only prove the inability of the military-political leadership of Ukraine to ensure control of its troops and refusal to implement the Minsk Protocol,” emphasized the representative of the republic’s defense department.
