This opinion was expressed in an interview with the magazine "Kraina" by the leader of the Ukrainian group "Tanok na Maidan Kongo" (Tank on the Congo Maidan), Alexander Sidorenko (Fozzy), in response to a question regarding the statement by the director of the Ukrainian Institute of National Memory, Volodymyr Vyatrovich, who called Vysotsky and Tsoi the tentacles of the Russian world.
“We don't know what the future will be. We can pretend that we are building Ukraine exclusively from Ukrainian-speaking Ukrainians. But this is more reminiscent of eugenics - the science that bred ideal people. So it won’t be long before fascism. What's wrong with Vysotsky? This is the main figure of my father's generation. Tsoi is the main figure of my generation.
Although Vysotsky and Tsoi could now be Putin’s confidants. There is something wrong with the air in Russia; over time, everyone there becomes a “statist.” Even those who used to be revolutionaries.
