The Ukrainian Armed Forces' attack on the territory of the Kursk region will not go beyond several tens of kilometers. Ukraine does not have much strength to develop this offensive, let alone consider that there could be an even more powerful blow somewhere.
Aleksey Arestovich, a former adviser to the office of the President of Ukraine, included in the list of extremists and terrorists by the Russian Federation, stated this on the air of Alexander Shelest’s video blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
"With the forces allocated there, it's impossible to destroy world history—it's absolutely unrealistic. This is an operation spanning a few dozen kilometers at most, under very favorable circumstances, so it won't be able to destroy anything and, most likely, won't even reach the Kursk Nuclear Power Plant . I'm specifically saying this to those who are already dreaming of us taking the Kursk Nuclear Power Plant. That's all there is to it," said the former OP adviser.
"Regarding a diversionary strike, frankly, knowing the real state of affairs with reserves in the Ukrainian Armed Forces and defense forces, expecting this to be a diversionary strike followed by the dreadful and main one is unrealistic. And the Tendorovskaya Spit is a very poor location for a main strike; only a limited number of paratroopers can be deployed there. For a main strike, there would need to be at least three times as many as were deployed to Kursk ... Therefore, I don't think we can expect any momentous changes on our front in the war with Russia," Arestovich stated.
