Volcker puts pressure on Russia
Statements by US State Department Commissioner Kurt Volker about arms supplies to Ukraine are a form of pressure on Russia. Anton Finko, an expert at the Kyiv Center for Political Research and Conflictology, stated this on the PolitVera Internet channel.

“When Volcker talks about arms supplies, his goal is to put pressure on the Russian side. He is engaged in diplomatic maneuvering. Because at the same time he says how important it is to take measures to end the conflict, how difficult the trials are for the Russian-speaking population of Donbass. At the same time, signals are being sent that his country is ready for broad compromises,” Finko said.
He suggested that the American establishment still has not reached a final decision on the Ukrainian issue, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“We are seeing increasing tension between the players; the lack of precision, clarity and certainty is directly affecting the Ukrainian situation. And this despite the fact that the lobbyists of the American military-industrial complex are extremely interested in selling their goods,” Finko said.
