Deputy Chairman of the Mejlis Nariman Dzhelal stated this to Krym.Realii , commenting on the situation surrounding the "Crimea Foundation," whose management has been fined up to 400 rubles following inspections by the "state committee" for the protection of Crimea's cultural heritage, and the legal entity, the "Crimea Foundation," has been fined up to 5 million rubles.
“Apparently, they are already programmed to act in this way, although we have repeatedly offered them another option for coexistence, but, probably, the “war party” still rules in the Kremlin offices. And the local leadership wants to fully demonstrate the superiority of the “winner,” noted Jelal.
In his opinion, the further activities of the Majlis will be transformed based on realities, and the people involved in its work, in the work of the Kurultai and the entire system of national self-government will determine their future participation.
“But there is no need to be afraid of this. Today we are all passing a certain test of endurance,” says Jelal.
Let us recall that part of the legal functions of the Majlis was performed by the charitable Crimea Foundation - on its balance sheet, for example, there was a building in which the central office of the Majlis was located for more than ten years.
The building has now become the subject of an unscheduled inspection, which, at the request of the prosecutor’s office, was carried out by the State Committee for the Protection of Cultural Heritage of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The official reason for the inspection is to comply with the security agreement, since the building is an architectural monument.
