Deputy Prime Minister: 7 billion hryvnia are needed to restore the railway tracks destroyed as a result of the ATO in Donbass
As a result of the so-called “ATO”, almost 2 thousand kilometers of railway tracks and more than 1 thousand transport infrastructure facilities were damaged or completely destroyed.

This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister Vladimir Kistion in an interview with the parliamentary publication “Voice of Ukraine”.
“If we talk about railway transport, then in the ATO zone over 1000 objects require restoration. This year we plan to begin restoring some of these facilities in the territory controlled by Ukraine, which requires approximately more than 350 million hryvnia,” the minister said.

According to him, about 7 billion hryvnia are needed to restore the railway tracks destroyed and damaged as a result of hostilities in the Lugansk and Donetsk regions.
“The situation with roads is also difficult. In the Donetsk and Lugansk regions, the total volume of destruction is about 2 thousand kilometers. The estimated amount of funds for restoration is measured in billions. This is about 7 billion hryvnia,” the official said.
