A monument to the architect of the palace of Nicholas II is unveiled in Yalta
Tomorrow in Yalta a monument to the former chief architect of the city Nikolai Krasnov will be unveiled. Local journalist Sergei Sardyko reported this on his social network page.

“At 13.00 on the Yalta embankment there will be a grand opening of the monument to architect Nikolai Krasnov. Yalta residents are waiting for repentant speeches from representatives of Consoli, Professional, Keramist and other construction companies that violated the Krasnov principles of development and destroyed the parks of the Southern Coast of Crimea with multi-story concrete monsters,” Sardyko said.
Nikolai Krasnov was the chief architect of Yalta from 1887 to 1899; according to his designs, sewerage was laid in the city, a number of buildings were built, in particular, the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, Livadia, Yusupov palaces and other famous buildings. Krasnov is also famous for limiting the width of streets and the height of buildings, eliminating the chaotic nature of buildings in the city.
